Coronary
Artery Disease
I
have coronary artery disease and have a heart stent with 2 other small
blockages in my LADA. I must keep my cholesterol levels down so I
do not further clog the blockages on the other side of my heart stent, as
I would have to have open heart surgery to open those up should they
become more clogged. After discovering I had heart disease in
2003, I changed my eating habits to one that is lower in fat to help
improve my health and began taking a statin drug. In August 2005,
my HDL was 56, LDL was 86, Triglycerides were 66 and my total
cholesterol was 155 - pretty good numbers and my doctor was pleased!
I take 40 mg of Lovastatin daily, which had been doing a pretty good job
of keeping my levels under control, along with my low fat

Zoster Herpes
