end of Tourist Season-birds rescued and rehabilitated.

Humane Society in removal of poorly treated bird to Veterinarian who had to
euthanize bird due to sever neglect by owners.

(San Filippo Disease) research at the University of Minnesota
School of Medicine Department of Human
Genetics – Donated emu birds for study since only the Emu
replicate this human disease which kills before the age of 21 years.
